Athina Thanasi
Communication Officer
Athina Thanasi is a journalist. She worked for 6 years for the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, and has been a Web Content Editor, Social Media Editor, and Contributing Writer for various websites and blogs. In October 2022, she became member of iMEdD’s Marketing & Communications team as part of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) internship program. Today, she is a Communication Officer at iMEdD’s Communication department.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies (NKUA), was an Erasmus student at the Department of Audiovisual Communication (University of Alcalá), and pursued a master’s degree in Communication Management of Refugee/Migration Flows (NKUA).
