Niki Evelpidou is a Professor at the Faculty of Geology and Geoenvironment of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research focuses on geomorphology, coastal geomorphology, sea-level changes, palaeogeographic reconstructions, geoarchaeology, study and modeling of natural hazards, emphasizing on new technologies and innovation. Her research counts more than 320 publications in scientific conferences and journals and 28 books and educational textbooks, while she has given many lectures both in Greece and abroad. Prof. Evelpidou has received several awards and recognitions, with the most significant ones from the Academy of Athens, in 2013 and 2019.
