The Department of Communication, Media, and Culture of Panteion University is the first of the Departments of Communication and Mass Media that has created in a Greek university. Based on the strategic cooperation of its three laboratories (Journalism Laboratory/Communication, Media & Culture Laboratory/Advertising and Public Relations Laboratory) with iMEdD, the aim is to develop high quality articles on topics of broader interest, to exchange know-how, scientific methods and approaches on contemporary journalistic practices and to provide students with access to real problems and data.
- Liliane de Brauwer, student at Panteion University, formed part of the pop-up newsroom set during the iMEdD International Journalism Forum 2024, covering real-time the Forum.
- In 2024, third-year students from the Department of Communication, Media & Culture produced podcasts on Gen Z, Media, and Climate Change through workshops led by iMEdD experts.
- In the framework of iMEdD’s collaboration with Panteion University, third-year students from the Department of Communication, Media & Culture created their own podcasts on Gen Z and Media, as part of the workshop on podcast production held by Panagiotis Menegos and Kelly Kiki.
- Radio Panteion was part of the Media Village 2023.
- In the context of supporting the journalism community of the future, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Panteion University and delivered workshops on data journalism and its applications as well as podcast production.
