iMEdD, in cooperation with facilitators from international organisations, is hosting in February an interactive training on “Anti-surveillance and digital security”.
More and more attention has recently been paid to the increasing use of spyware against journalists and their sources and the implications for the practice of free and independent journalism. In a world where new surveillance technologies are constantly being developed and data is being collected and retained on a massive scale, how can journalists better protect themselves and their sources? By what means can they secure their communications?
Registration for the workshops will open in January. The workshops will have a total duration of 3 weeks and will be held in physical presence at iMEdD spaces.
More information will be available in the coming weeks.
We look forward to welcoming you to the new series of in-person workshops!
