Evros is often at the forefront of developments, but how much do we really know about what is happening in the region? How is daily life at the border captured through investigative journalism? And what is the role of local communities in this narrative?
We are organizing an open discussion on the occasion of the podcast “Evros behind the fence”.
The event will take place on Sunday, 16 February, at 11:00 am at Dionysos Theatre (76 Orestou Street), Orestiada.
Journalists who participated in the research and members of the local community will discuss the themes of the podcast, as well as issues of concern to the residents of northern Evros. How can journalism highlight critical issues and create space for meaningful public dialogue?
The event is open to the public. It will be held on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited seating.
