The Pulitzer Center and Ideas Zone, iMEdD’s training pillar, invite journalists from Southeastern Europe to participate in a two-day, in-person training program on accountability in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The training will take place in Thessaloniki (Greece) on May 1-2, 2025, under the guidance of award-winning journalists Karen Hao and Gabriel Geiger. Twelve selected journalists from countries such as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Turkey will learn how to effectively cover the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and their impact in our daily lives, follow AI supply chains, and document harms.
Travel and accommodation costs will be covered. Upon completion, participants will be able to join the Pulitzer Center AI Accountability Network.
Application deadline: March 12, 2025, 11:59 p.m. (Eastern European Time)
