Dawes leads THE CITY’s reporting after 20 years of experience in journalism, including leadership positions at The Hindustan Times in India and the Mail & Guardian in South Africa.
He talked about how THE CITY’s focus on ordinary users and diversity in the newsroom leads to better journalism, even on high-impact local stories that larger media outlets may have missed.
