Athens Comics Library was designed to be a place of inspiration and experience, learning and exploration, meeting and participation, creativity and efficiency. The Athens Comics Library designs and implements educational programs for all school levels as well as seminars for teachers, but also offers a series of activities on the art of comics for children and families. It has also developed a pilot project called Library Prescription, a cross-sectoral collaboration between libraries, health professionals and cultural activities to improve mental health and well-being.
- iMEdD in collaboration with the international organization Drawing the Times and the Athens Comics Library, organized a specialized workshop of four meetings, aiming to familiarize the participants with the practice of graphic journalism.
