Dutch Stichting European Journalism Centre (EJC) is a non-profit based in The Netherlands. Its purpose is to strengthen the resilience of European journalism by connecting journalists and media to new ideas, nurturing communities, making available a wide range of unique experiences, providing grants and skills development, and producing resources and training affordable or for free. Every activity that EJC designs and delivers builds on four pillars: Support, connect, inspire and engage.
- Vera Penêda, Director of Programmes and Impact, European Journalism Centre participated in the panel discussion “Climate journalism: Bridging the gap between science and the audience“, during the iMEdD International Journalism Forum 2024.
- EJC was part of the Media Village in 2023.
- iMEdD has undertaken to publish in Greek the book “The Data Journalism Handbook: Towards a Critical Data Practice”, a production of datajournalism.com, European Journalism Centre and Google News Initiative, edited by Liliana Bounegru and Jonathan Gray. The book is now available in Greek from the iMEdD Lab at datahandbook.lab.imedd.org, under the title “The Data Journalism Handbook: towards a Critical Data Practice”.
